About the Ramona West End Firesafe Council

The Ramona West End Firesafe Council (RWEFSC) is a tax exempt, non-profit organization, 501(c)(3), providing fire safety information and resources to the Community of Ramona, California.

The RWEFSC works with CAL FIRE/the Ramona Fire Department to promote fire safety and fire hazard awareness in our community through vegetation management projects and public education. The mission of the RWEFSC is:  To provide a comprehensive assessment, to include ongoing maintenance in conjunction with the fire agencies serving this community, residents and the County, with the purpose of enhancing the protection of personal property and lives, and reduce losses due to wild fire. The RWEFSC has limited funding available to assist the elderly and disabled with their defensible space.
